Regular readers of this blog know that we have a semi-regular feature called rogue’s gallery where we write about some of the villains and idiocy that are plaguing our world thanks to 2.0.

Well, this is the first blog post in a hopefully semi regular feature called “heroes gallery” covering the heroes and heroines that give us hope.

Today’s heroine is an 11 year old girl from Yemen that is far more intelligent and conscious than her parents on the subject of forced marriage. If only all children who find themselves trapped with parents who think they have a right to sell them were so intelligent and brave.

She seems to have found an audience too, the clip has been viewed on youtube more than 3 million times. Check it out.
